Crowns and Bridges

Crowns:
If you have a weak tooth due to a big decay or large filling, a crown can be the way to save the tooth and strengthen it. Sometimes it used to cover a much discolored tooth. A crown fits over the existing natural tooth and replaces the natural crown, the part of the tooth seen above the gums. Material for the crown can be porcelainfused to metal, all ceramic, gold. It is done in 2 steps. First session preparing the tooth, taking impressions, inserting temporary crown. Impressions send to the laboratory. In the 2nd visit crown is inserted with a cement to the prepared tooth.
Bridges:
Bridges replace one or more missing teeth. They consist of crowns anchored to the natural teeth on each side of the gap. Pricing will depend on how many teeth are missing. Implants or dentures can be the other options to replace the missing teeth.
